Designing

Good design is more than just good layout. It encompasses maximising space and usability. It's about creating an ambience with colours, textures and lighting. In short it's a mixture of creativity, experience and knowledge. Our designers work with you to optimise space, create moods and offer stylish and practical solutions to your display needs. Only after you are completely satisfied with the design will our project manager allow the manufacturing to begin.

Manufacturing

At our purpose-built workshop in Townsville, we have the ability to produce the majority of our customer’s requirements in-house. This ensures the perfect matching of colours and veneers as well as meeting the precise measurements required.

Specialising in the manufacture of custom-built joinery, the workshop is equipped with modern cutting, drilling and edge banding equipment, as well as a range of traditional hand tools.

Installation

The first stage of a major installation is the demolition and preparation of the site. Our installation team will then install ceilings, partitions, plumbing, electric's and flooring. The wall areas will be decorated as necessary, before commencing on installing the furniture, fixtures and fittings. Once completed, the area will be inspected initially by the owner of SOH Design + Fitout, Shane O'Hara.

When it receives his approval the relevant inspectors will be invited to inspect. The hand over to the client then takes place with the mandatory inspection notices being handed to the client.
